I am the youngest of four kids, born and raised in Southern California. I am married to my very sweet and supportive husband, David, and a mom of two wonderful children.
I received my cosmetology license later in life, after 10 years of being a stay-at-home mom. The time had come for me to choose a career field, and Cosmetology was something I always wanted to pursue. I graduated from Regency Beauty Institute in Tucson, Arizona. I worked very hard to develop my skills so that I could provide great services for my clients. As a cosmetologist in a full-service salon, I enjoyed giving my customers the very best in haircutting, color, highlights, perms, blow-dry/styles and men’s barbering; nail services: manicure, pedicure, gel polish manicures, and facial waxing.
In the ever-changing cosmetology industry, when a new opportunity opens up it is a wonderful thing to be able to trust your instincts and take a chance. For me that new opportunity was the world of extensions. The Lauren Ashtyn Collection came into my life in 2020, and I was offered a position as a travel stylist with the company. Needless to say, I said yes!
I have come to absolutely love the brand, so much so that I have now partnered up with the Lauren Ashtyn Collection and I carry this line in the city of Houston at my salon, Suite 16 Forever! My desire to work with and support this amazing company has become my top priority and my passion.
As a customer myself, I have experienced the wonderful emotion of finally having the hair of my dreams, from the natural look, to the comfort of wearing them every day, to the self confidence I have gained, these extensions have changed my life.
